I’ve been busy the last couple of months and in a few minutes, you will know why!
On October 23, I had the pleasure of shooting C & M’s wedding at The Atrium in Norcross. The weather couldn’t decide if it wanted to rain or clear up. We had to run inside and out to dodge the rain drops. They were able to have the ceremony outside and it was beautiful.
The next day, I had a fun little session downtown with J, B & L. J is the Director of Volunteers at our church and B works in the Children’s Dept. They are a great family and I’m honored that I got to photograph them.
Later that day, I met up with some old friends and we had a blast. The kids were really cooperative, so we got some great photographs!

Two weekends ago, I had the chance to photograph a close friend’s family. They are so sweet and it doesn’t hurt that they are so photogentic! We had a fun time over at Starrs Mill.

In the last week or so, I did some event photography at the annual teacher/staff person of the year awards celebration for Fulton Schools. That was a lot of fun! The teacher of the year for the entire system was awarded a brand new car.

Back in September, I had the pleasure of photographing some of Kevin Raines acting/modeling students. He has some talented kids and I fully expect to be sitting at home one day, watching TV and see one of his students!

I’ve been taking a hiatus because of how busy the holiday season is. Hopefully after the first of the year, I will regroup and start taking appointments again.
Today, I had the privilege of spending some time with a wonderful family. My husband has been friends with these guys for years and just in the last couple of years, I’ve become friends with them too.
On Saturday, my husband’s grandmother celebrated her 85th birthday with family and friends. It was a great day! She had lots of people to come out and celebrate with her. The food and decorations were beautiful.

Here she is with 4 of her 12 great grandchildren!

My son enjoyed the chocolate fountains
That’s my boy!
I have a first birthday party to shoot on Sunday. I’m taking my oldest nephew along to second shoot. He was burned on Thanksgiving Day and hasn’t really taken any pictures since. Hopefully, he will get some good experience and have some fun!
I was able to shoot L’s 9th birthday party/fashion show on Friday night. It was so much fun! Her mom is very creative. I would never in a million years have thought about doing something like that. The girls danced, ate, toasted each other with punch, sang with Hannah Montana and walked the runway.
Thanks for letting this old lady hang out with you guys!!
I had such a great time getting to know these girls better yesterday! They are so adorable and A. is just a firecracker! I think my son is a little smitten with her… can you see why? MM is beautiful and I love her little cowlick. Hopefully, once the weather gets a little warmer, we will be able to do some photos outside!
On Friday night, I’m looking forward to some fashion photography! The Pastor’s daughter is having a fashion themed birthday party and I’m going over to cover the runway! It should be a lot of fun! Little girls love dressing up and having their pictures made
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and Story. Kevin and his wife, Kelly, takes Story around to different churches and schools and tells her story. So, what is her story? HOPE! Here is a little about Story from her website, http://www.astoryland.org.
Story was adopted August
18th, 2006. She was extremely
malnourished. We were told
that she had been badly
beaten and was seriously
abused. The name Story was
inspired by a dream Kevin had
a year to the month from the
first encounter. Kevin says,
“We know that God gave Story
to us for a purpose. She has
changed our lives in so many
ways. It is our passion and
dream to share with the world
this incredible story by bringing
hope and encouragement to all
who hear.”
Kevin has some wonderful opportunities coming up and I’m excited to hear the good reports from him!
I had a busy weekend, but loved every minute of it.
We started out on Saturday morning in LaGrange. Oh.my.goodness! It was so cold. 30* cold. The girls were troopers and we got some great shots!
Saturday night, I had the pleasure of shooting a friend’s 40th birthday bash. The twins know how to throw a party! We did portraits for the guests (there were around 400 people there) and that was a big hit. Hubby came along and for that, I’m thankful

I had a blast today! The kids were so well behaved and we had a lot of fun just playing around. Here are a few of my favorites.
Today I have the honor of photographing a dear friend’s family. We met when I took a children’s ministry position in a nearby town. We stuck together… and that’s all I will say
We had to change locations because of a Civil War Reenactment (how many people can say that?), but I think the new location will be fine. The leaves around town are gorgeous. I believe it’s the prettiest I’ve seen in years.
Here’s another photo from Jordann’s session… she just had her first concert a week ago and I’m looking forward to getting my CD in the mail!
I had a great time photographing this family today. She just happens to be my boss
I hope they are as happy with these photos as I am!
